Towards a Truly Inclusive Digital Economy Event
On Friday 6th March 2009, we held a public event entitled "Towards a Truly Inclusive Digital Economy" at City University, London. This public event allowed us to present back challenges faced by older people in the current digital economy. The event saw keynotes from Wayne David MP, the Deputy Minister for Inclusion and John Hand, the Head of Digital Inclusion at the EPSRC. Also in the morning there was an Theatre Event depicting challenges faced by older people in the Digital Economy.
The afternoon saw presentations from individual representatives from the network and a panel with representatives from Technology Strategy Board, OFCOM, BBC and Help the Aged.
